• Not open to: enrolment currently enrolled in a Master’s program at EPFL
• only one master’s program per year

How to apply

1. For applications via IS-Academia, complete EPFL’s Master online application form, check the box requesting consideration for an excellence fellowship, and provide the documents required for admission. No additional fellowship documents are required for this route. Required
2. For the online application route, pay for and validate the application by December 15; applications paid for and validated later are considered for admission only, not for the fellowship. Required
3. For the online route described with the admission documents, ensure reference letters are uploaded to the system one week after the application deadline. Check the application-validation confirmation email for the exact date. Required
4. Alternative route for internal candidates continuing in the same field: submit the application directly to your section, with a copy to the address displayed as [email protected]; do not apply via IS-Academia. Include a CV, motivation letter and transcript of all grades earned at EPFL. The actual email address is obscured in the supplied evidence. Required
5. For the direct-to-section route, arrange for two professors familiar with your work and achievements to submit recommendation letters directly to the address displayed as [email protected].
