How to apply

The application information below summarizes the captured scholarship source. Review the provider page before submitting.

1. Read the CEU application instructions and document checklist before completing the application. Required
2. Prepare the academic records, CV, maximum 350-word career-goals statement and English-proficiency evidence. If applying for both Lund and Manchester tracks, state the preferred track in the statement. Include a written exemption request if seeking an English-test exemption; TOEFL applicants should request results be sent to CEU Admissions using code 0069. Required
3. Complete and submit the CEU online application with the necessary documents by the applicable deadline. Provide contact details for two referees so the system can request their letters. Applicants may submit two applications for the Lund and Manchester tracks. Required
4. Ensure two referees submit recommendations in English, or with certified English translations, within seven days after application submission, including beyond January 7 if the application is submitted on the last day. Required
5. Check the active application email account regularly and view review results and admission decisions in the Applicant Portal. Required
6. If clarification is needed, email the coordinator; this address must not be used to send applications or related documents. Optional
7. If appealing a final decision, follow the official appeals procedure and email the appeal to the coordinator within the applicable appeals window. Rejection decisions are overturned only on procedural grounds. Optional
8. If selected, provide requested proof of residency. If accepted, return signed Acceptance Forms, pay the deposit and provide official academic records before enrollment; submit an original English-test certificate after admission if the score report was not sent directly to CEU. Required
9. By July 31, 2027, arrange for the issuing institution to email official final bachelor's records to CEU Admissions (student-emailed copies are not accepted), OR mail or deliver hard copies to Room A609, Quellenstrasse 51, 1100 Vienna, Austria. Certified copies are accepted with official English translations as applicable. Include the final transcript or Diploma Supplement and degree certificate unless the transcript states the degree and award date; a Diploma Supplement must accompany the diploma. Required
