How to apply

The application information below summarizes the captured scholarship source. Review the provider page before submitting.

  1. Register for a Master's programme in Studielink as part of the required VUFP application process; there is no separate NL Scholarship application. Required
  2. Complete the Master's programme application in your personal VU dashboard and obtain conditional admission before applying for VUFP. Apply earlier if an intake or assessment is part of admission. Required
  3. Read the requirements and conditions and completely fill in the current VUFP-NLS application form for one Master's programme. Paste GPA proof, official English bachelor transcripts, and GPA calculation and grading scale explanations into the form. Include exchange transcripts if those grades are missing from the main transcript; use current official grades if not yet graduated. Answer all questions, providing a professional background summary rather than a separate CV, and save as one PDF. Required
  4. Check completeness and submit the PDF once in the Scholarship section of your personal VU dashboard on the Complete Registration page. Email applications are not accepted. Applying for VUFP automatically applies for NL Scholarship, but does not guarantee an NL award. Required
  5. If selected after committee review, accept or decline the NL Scholarship offer in your personal VU dashboard within two weeks of receiving the results; otherwise the offer is withdrawn. Required
