How to apply
The application information below summarizes the captured scholarship source. Review the provider page before submitting.
- Register for a Master's programme in Studielink. Required
- Complete the Master's programme application in your personal VU dashboard. You must already be conditionally admitted before applying for VUFP; apply earlier if the admission procedure includes an intake or assessment. Required
- Read the scholarship requirements and conditions, then completely fill in the current VUFP-NLS application form for only one Master's programme. Paste GPA proof, official English bachelor transcripts and an explanation of GPA calculation and grading scale into the form. Include an exchange transcript if exchange grades are absent from the main transcript; if not yet graduated, use your current official transcript. Answer all questions; provide the professional background summary in the form rather than uploading a CV. Save everything as one PDF. Required
- Check completeness and upload the single PDF in the Scholarship section of your personal VU dashboard on the Complete Registration page. Submission is allowed only once; email applications are not accepted. This also automatically applies for the NL Scholarship. Required
- If applying as a Semester in Amsterdam alumnus, after completing the standard VUFP application contact the Semester in Amsterdam team to inform them that you applied. Required
- After faculty review and nomination to the Central Scholarship Committee, await the decision notification. If selected, accept or decline the VUFP and NL Scholarship offers in your personal VU dashboard within two weeks of receiving results; otherwise the offer is withdrawn. Required
