Everyone needs

  • institution Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE)
  • degree doctoral student
  • degree pre-degree certificate completed during spring semester 2025/2026
  • degree doctoral degree not obtained until August (the end of the semester)
  • need to stay in Hungary during the final research period to write the dissertation and prepare for defence
  • stay and live in Hungary full time during the awarded period

How to apply

The application information below summarizes the captured scholarship source. Review the provider page before submitting.

  1. Apply through DreamApply using the account previously used for doctoral studies, and clone the previous application. Required
  2. Download and complete the Applicant Data Sheet, list the length of all other documents, and sign the sheet. Required
  3. Download and complete the Motivation Letter form, answering the questions in detail and justifying the need to stay in Hungary during the scholarship period. Required
  4. Download and complete the Work Plan by stating the number of months applied for; delete the remaining sections as instructed. Required
  5. Download and complete the Class Plan for four classes within one course; consult the supervisor and Faculty Doctoral Office for help. Required
  6. Download and complete the Letter of Justification and Declaration of Support forms. Ensure the personal data matches the Applicant Data Sheet and both pages are completed and signed; arrange for the supervisor(s) to write and sign the Letter of Justification in Hungarian and the Head of the Doctoral School to sign the Declaration of Support. Required
  7. Submit the completed application online through DreamApply; a saved application alone will not be considered. Required
