- Submit an HKU application through the online application system, indicate interest in the HeForShe scholarship on the application form, and submit supporting documents; interested students are strongly advised to do this. Optional
- Upon submitting the application to the University, upload the essay of no more than 500 words to the online application account under the “HeForShe - Supplementary Essay” section. The essay should describe the applicant’s Impact Champion role, chosen HKU programme and motivations, interests and activities, career aspirations, education barriers overcome, and what the scholarship would mean to them. Required
- If experiencing financial difficulties, advise your counsellor to write to counsellors@hku.hk about an application fee waiver; HKU will contact the counsellor about the next step when available. Evaluation is case by case. Optional
